On the thirteenth day of Christmas . . .

. . . it was the last Civil War quilt block-of-the-month class at Mormon Handicraft. Now to get the blocks finished and put together in a quilt by Feb. 14.

Then Melissa with Thomas & Mya met me at the mall and we shopped for Mya's Christmas dress. That girl hates trying on dresses! It took Melissa and me together to get them on her. The sales girl watched in amazement, commenting that she's never seen a baby fight it like that. And I'm so mad at myself because I had my camera with me but forgot to take a picture. Blast. So you'll just have to imagine how cute Mya looked toddling around the store in the beautiful dresses -- once we got them on her!

On the twelvth day of Christmas . . .

. . . the secretaries at the 'tute celebrated with their annual Christmas lunch & gift exchange.

A good time was had by all!

On the eleventh day of Christmas . . .

. . . we welcomed Max & Katie to our inn! We had a wonderful evening with them and Kathryn & Dave, starting with dinner at Chili's. Then we went to the Conference Center for the glorious Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra at Temple Square Christmas concert.
We ended the fun night by walking through the beautiful lights on Temple Square. It was a beautiful clear evening with a full moon and the lights were breathtaking. We had so much fun.

The tenth day of Christmas . . .

. . . was the Thimbleberries Quilt Club party at Corn Wagon. Marsha & Ramona fed us hawaiian haystacks and we had our gift exchange. It's pretty funny how those ladies fight for gifts. I got a Corn Wagongift certificate. Hooray! Thanks, Jackie.

On the ninth day of Christmas . . .

. . . I got a haircut and new color. Thanks, Devron, for working so hard -- and 8 months pregnant! You're great.

On the eighth day of Christmas . . .

. . . I went to the meeting and Christmas party for the Highland Cascade Springs D.U.P. Camp. We learned about some pioneer Christmases of the past, had turkey and all the trimmings for lunch, and did a cookie exchange. Fun ladies, fun times!

Tonight our ward went to Bethlehem. To enter the city everyone had to pay a tax of canned goods. We were given a sack with coins to buy our dinner at the different food stands.

Believe it our not this is the Rob Morris family (the former #94 of the Indianapolis Colts).

Dr. Pitts made a great Roman centurion.
Mary and Joseph entered the city looking for a place to stay. There was no room in the inn so they went to the stable. The whole nativity story was acted out. I was amazed at how reverent the children were during the story. The spirit was very strong.

It was a night to remember, the best ward Christmas party ever.

On the seventh day of Christmas . . .

. . . the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. Now it seems like Christmas.
